What we collect on this form. Your company name, contact name, email address, and the reference (UID/GUID) from the email we sent you.
Why. To obtain your meter, supplier and consumption information from suppliers and industry databases so we can provide quotations and arrange utility procurement. Our lawful basis is your consent (the authority you give above) and our legitimate interest in providing the services you have asked for.
Who we share it with. Relevant utility suppliers and industry data sources (for example Electralink and Xoserve/REC) to retrieve your meter and usage data, and our service providers (for example Microsoft Power Automate and Cloudflare) that help us process this submission.
How long we keep it. We keep the authority record for the duration of the authority (12 months) plus a reasonable period afterwards for audit and legal purposes.
Your rights. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw this authority at any time, by emailing data.controller@blacksheeputilities.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Black Sheep Utilities is typically paid commission by suppliers where a utility contract is arranged through us.
